Center Information

Director

Vincent A. DiNoto, Jr serves as the Principal Investigator and Director of the National GeoTech Center of Excellence located in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. DiNoto handles the daily responsibilities of the National GeoTech Center.

 

Associate Directors/Co-Principle Investigators

The Associate Directors are responsible for one of the Goals of the GeoTech Center as well as the Objectives and Activities of the goal. In addition the Associate Directors advise and assist the Director in the overall direction of the Center. Each of the Associate Directors are nationally recognized leaders in the field of geospatial technology.

 

Assistant Directors/Senior Team

The Associate Directors are responsible for one of the Goals of the GeoTech Center as well as the Objectives and Activities of the goal. In addition the Associate Directors advise and assist the Director in the overall direction of the Center. Each of the Associate Directors are nationally recognized leaders in the field of geospatial technology.

 

National Visiting Committee
The National Visiting Committee (NVC) serves as an advisory body for both the Center as well as the funding agency, the Advanced Technological Education program of the National Science Foundation. Members of the NVC include academics, industry, and professional organizations and are led by Ms. Deidre Sullivan of the MATE Center in Monterey California.

National Advisory Council
The Advanced Council will advise the GeoTech Center on the changes they see in the geospatial field. The Council membership will be experts in the field from numerous locations and sub-fields of study and work.

Center's Partners
The Center is composed of colleges and universities nationwide. The partners provide GeoTech services in their region and together our synergistic efforts create a more dynamic Center, allowing us to provide impact at both a local and national level.

Annual Reports
The GeoTech Center provides a series of annual reports on our progress towards meeting our deliverables. The Center undergoes continuous evaluation from an independent external evaluator who reports to our National Visiting Committee and our cognizant National Science Foundation program officer.
